I am a resident of Urbandale over 37 years and we have operated our agency focusing on auto, home and life insurance for over 38 years. Between me and my team of Cathy Zazueta and Kevin Cron, our office insurance experience totals over 68 years with State Farm Insurance. As an agent for over 39 years in Urbandale, I am a past chairman of the Urbandale Parks & Recreation Commission, have also been a member of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce for 37 plus years supporting our chamber and other local businesses and have served on the Urbandale 4th of July Committee since 1996. We have been honored to be named the Urbandale Business of the Year in 2005 and the Urbandale Citizen of the Year in 2008. In the past I have served as President of the Children's Cancer Connection, as a Charter Director of the Iowa Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of America, as a Children's Cancer Connection Volunteer, as a Habitat for Humanity Volunteer, on the Urbandale Senior Citizen Center Advisory Committee, on the Urbandale Community School Vision Committee, and have participated in the Urbandale Citizen's Police Academy and am an alumnus of the Leadership Urbandale program.
